When the #shelterinplace order was mandated and you were told to work from home, you probably felt one of two things: excitement about the idea of working in pjs or stress about the idea of your kids/roommates barging into your virtual meetings every two seconds. But if you are like most people, you have since realized there are a lot more considerations than just comfy clothes and kids/roommates that factor into the work from home experience. It has been a sentiment we have been hearing all too often lately – working from home is much harder than we thought. Add on the fact that people may be working from home much longer than expected, and WFH becomes WTF all too quickly (no shame, we like to drop a good f-bomb now and again).
But, there are ways to make it easier. Ad 2 board member, freelancer and practiced work-from-homer, Lindsay Oien sat down to share some tips and tricks that she has learned over the last year as she made the transition from office to permanently working from home (even before COVID-19 took over).

Settle in because WFH is here to stay! But on the bright side, at least now when Jeff goes off on a 15-minute tangent in the middle of the meeting, you can mute him.
