The Minnies is an exciting award show presented by AdFed designed to give outstanding media professionals their due.  This year, our award will be given out virtually on Thursday, April 29, 2021.

MEET OUR 2021 JUDGES

Dave Kersey – Executive Media Director at GSD&M (Austin, TX)

Dave, an accomplished agency veteran, has joined GSD&M’s leadership team as the Executive Media Director. He’s tasked with growing and evolving the agency’s media practice, while leading modern brands as they compete for consumer attention in an ever changing, and highly fragmented, media landscape. Prior to joining GSD&M, he served in senior leadership roles across Carat/Dentsu, OMD and Horizon Media. His leadership and media approach has driven innovation across some of the most iconic and unique brands; Disney, Hilton, Intel, Infiniti, U.S. Air Force to name a few. Dave brings more than 20 years of experience in audience centric media connections, and experiences, across all digital and offline touchpoints.

Anna Sherrill – VP, Media Director at Tombras (Atlanta, GA)

With over 20 years of experience, Anna has worked at independent and network agencies, and currently serves as VP, Media Director at Tombras. Her experience includes a wide range of categories from financial services to retail and includes brands ranging from Aflac, Navy Federal Credit Union, Food Lion, Mitsubishi Electric, BB&T, RE/MAX, and MedExpress Urgent Care. She loves thinking about the intersection of media and storytelling to drive consumer action and, ultimately, client business.

 

Julia Thuman – Co- Founder/Co-CEO at RocketSauce Media Labs & Chief Integration/Client Officer at The Next Practice (Dallas, TX)

As a senior marketing executive and agency leader with over 30 years of experience,  Julia has led the transformation of many global consumer and B2B brands. She has been able to drive amazing customer experiences by leveraging advanced analytics, emerging technology, compelling brand stories  and innovative media strategy and execution. She is continually inspired by the challenge to leverage data to derive insights, understand a customer’s journey, close customer experience gaps and reach audiences through an  integrated and holistic paid, earned, owned, shared (PESO) media strategy and execution to drive leads and sales for the companies and clients she has had the privilege to partner with.

Kailey Campos – Media Supervisor (Los Angeles, CA)

Kailey Campos is a Media Supervisor at Zambezi in Los Angeles, one of the largest female owned agencies in America. In her 9 years, she has developed a media career within creative agencies that have up and coming media departments. Her focus has been in digital innovation in client verticals such as healthcare, HCM tech/software and retail brands. “As the media landscape continues to trend toward digital, there is a huge importance in bridging the gap between creative ideas and media execution early on in the planning process” she says. This is one of the things she enjoys most about working in a small full service agency.
