American Advertising Awards District 8 Winners

Minnesota creatives took the regional American Advertising Awards by storm! More than 30 entries scored big this year—many of which are now headed to the national stage to compete with the best in the business.

Need a refresher on how all this works? We’ve got you.

The Show, hosted in Minneapolis each winter, is the local tier of the American Advertising Awards. Gold-winning work from The Show is forwarded onto the regional tier of the competition, which is run by AAF District 8. Silver-winning agencies can also opt in to have their submissions forwarded on to regionals. Each tier of the competition is scored by a different panel of judges.

Entries that win a Gold ADDY at regionals are automatically forwarded to the national level of the American Advertising Awards. Silver ADDY recipients have the option to forward their entries as well. National judging is managed by AAF and takes place mid-April, with awards handed out in June at the American Advertising Awards Gala. This year’s event will take place on Friday, June 6 in Pittsburgh.
