What is Ad 2 Public Service?

Ad 2 Public Service is the pro bono initiative of Ad 2 Minnesota, where we dedicate our expertise in advertising, marketing, and design to support local nonprofits. Each year, we partner with one 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to create a comprehensive marketing campaign that aligns with their mission and helps them reach their goals. Our goal is to amplify the impact of nonprofits that are making a difference in our community.

What We Do

Ad 2 Public Service offers a unique opportunity for 501(c)(3) nonprofits to gain professional marketing and advertising support, completely pro bono. Our team of passionate advertising professionals works collaboratively with selected nonprofit partners to create a customized, impactful marketing campaign that aligns with their mission and goals. From strategy development to creative execution, we provide comprehensive services that help amplify your message, engage your target audience, and drive meaningful results.

What makes our approach special is that our team members are just starting their careers in advertising. This campaign offers them an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and showcase their talents. At the end of each campaign, we compete in a national competition, giving our nonprofit partners national recognition. In fact, last year we won first place, a testament to the effectiveness and quality of our work.

How You Can Get Involved as a Donor or Sponsor

Our work with 501(c)(3)nonprofits is made possible through the generous support of donors and sponsors. If your organization is passionate about making a difference in your community, you can contribute by sponsoring our public service campaign. Your support helps cover the costs of campaign production, events, media placement and materials, ensuring that we can deliver the best possible results for our nonprofit partner. In return, you’ll receive recognition across our campaign materials, social media, and events, showcasing your commitment to community impact. Together, we can create meaningful change. Please reach out to our Co-Chairs: Liz Hillskotter (hillskotterliz@gmail.com) and Maddie Holman (holmanmadison15@gmail.com) for more information on how to get involved.

Who We’ve Worked With

Last year, in our inaugural year, Ad 2 Public Service partnered with The BrandLab, a nonprofit committed to increasing diversity in the marketing and advertising industry. Our collaboration was a resounding success, where we delivered a comprehensive marketing strategy that included revamping their marketing materials, refreshing their website, and launching an individual donor campaign. We also created and executed an engaging fundraising event, “Flourish,” that not only raised funds but also brought the community together around The BrandLab’s mission. Our work helped The BrandLab navigate a critical transition period and set the stage for future growth, exemplifying the impact of our pro bono services.
