An Account Supervisor at Hunt Adkins is responsible for overseeing client account(s) and ensuring the successful execution of advertising campaigns. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. The Account Supervisor will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality campaigns that meet client objectives and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Understand clients’ business goals, challenges, and needs to provide strategic solutions.
- Proactively manage client expectations and deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Act as steward of our clients’ brand and business goals, objectives and strategies—always looking for opportunities and threats that may help or hinder them from their goals and providing a perspective, education or strategic point-of-view.
- Maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients by delivering consistently innovative and impactful creative work, sharing perspectives and participating in hosting and events that support relationship building.
Campaign Planning and Execution:
- Lead the development and implementation of advertising campaigns from concept to completion.
- Supervise multiple creative projects from concept through execution, working with cross-functional team to ensure they are on brief, on time and on budget.
- Collaborate with strategy, creative, media, and digital teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaign strategies.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
- Uphold high creative standards and consistently review output to ensure that all work meets or exceeds these standards. Both on-brief, and up to HA quality standards and client expectations.
- Monitor project status and provide regular updates and reports to clients.
- Actively resolve any issues that affect the creative quality or output of the team.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
- Provide clear direction and feedback to ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and project flow.
- Work in partnership with cross-functional teams on creative proposals, strategies, platforms and campaigns to client with strategic perspective, confidence and clarity.
- Ensure all creative deliverables are compelling, emotionally appealing and aligned with client needs, business goals, brand strategy and modern commerce, culture + technology.
Strategic Development:
- Participate in the development of proposals and strategic plans for clients.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform campaign strategies.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and new business development.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to provide innovative solutions.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in account management within an advertising agency or related industry.
- Proven track record of managing and growing client accounts.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve problems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Adept at problem-solving and managing complex projects.
- Outstanding leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
