Do you want to emotionally connect customers to your brand? Then you need “wow.” Wow is surprise and delight of an elevated magnitude. Wow goes above and beyond expectations and reaches people on a gut level. Wow increases customer loyalty and creates customer evangelists.

Laura Davis-Taylor, vice president of global retail strategy for Creative Realities in Fairfield, N.J. (www.cri.com), will discuss the “Anatomy of Wow,” including high-tech, low-tech and no-tech ways organizations can get customers talking. Davis-Taylor will use analysis of current market trends and stories of brands to illustrate how to use “wow” to connect with customers.

Davis-Taylor is recognized as an “expert resource” lecturer, workshop teacher and author in the In-Store Digital Media space. Creative Realities was named to Inc. magazine’s “Inc. 5000” list of America’s fastest-growing, privately-held companies. The firm focuses on experiential branding and marketing that creates wow environments and customer experiences.

Davis-Taylor has spent her 20-year career focused on cross-channel experiential marketing and branding utilizing consumer-focused technologies. Her career includes roles as an agency brand planner and working for Miller Zell and led accounts including Circuit City, Wal-Mart and H&R Block, to help clients build strategies around customer experience and communications.

Davis-Taylor chairs the POPAI Digital Signage Advocacy Committee, and is a board member of the Digital Signage Expo, the Digital Content Circle and Retail TouchPoints. Davis-Taylor also writes the retail technology column for Digital Signage Magazine.
